Today I was off to Las Vegas, to speak at Splunk .conf 2014! The kids saw me off at the airport early this morning. I painted them a quick surprise picture before I left! I took some photos from the airport and from the plane to send them, and Brandon took a photo of them after school to send to me. Pretty cool to see the Grand Canyon from the plane! I hope we can take them there one day. My day was pretty much nothing but travel, but my co-workers and I did manage to get checked in, take a spin around the vendor hall, and take a short walk down the strip before crashing.

I always like the scenery of the Southwest from the air. I was at the Grand Canyon a long time ago and Roger has never been there so it is on our list, too.
