Today was the first real day at the conference, we started off with a fancy keynote address (our CIO from Red Hat was a speaker!) We checked out the Red Hat booth (which was curiously unmanned early in the morning, hmm!) We spent the day going to lots of different talks and meetups, and this evening there was a party with a gigantic inflatable Buttercup Pwny. I thought the kids would be amused by that! Brandon sent me photos of the kids, and it was nice to catch up with everyone by phone briefly this afternoon! The bad news is, I am pretty sure my lunch at Wolfgang Puck’s is behind me developing an awful case of food poisoning.. I had to leave the party early, but I got no sleep at all. Not good, when I have to present tomorrow! Yikes.

I looked up Splunk and not sure I understand. I think it is a company and it has a huge world wide cloud of storage? This is my experience with a Cloud : iCloud and my iBook (2008) are not friends. Oh Well, if technology is a moving train, then Grandma got off at a station awhile back, so now I can just be a Grandma.
