Vegas Trip, day 3

Today was my big day–I did my presentation, and even being sick, with no sleep, I managed it!  Everyone said I did really well, and I was relieved to be done.  The kids had sent me a really sweet “good luck” video!  I did my second panel in the afternoon, part of a Q&A with other customers, and that also went well.  After that, I had a little time before my next event, so we did a little FaceTime chat from my hotel room.  It was so fun to talk with the kids and give them the “tour” of my room.  They had liked the pictures of the giant Buttercup so much, I got them a little plushie one of their own.  (Click the link for the backstory on Buttercup–I had to look it up myself!)  Soon, I had to go to a fancy customer dinner thing at Hakkasan, a fancy club in the MGM Grand.  The food there was good, and I had a great time geeking out with some other conference attendees–I would have stayed longer if they’d let me!  But, they had to clear out us nerds to let all the beautiful people in, or whatever.  😉  After that, I don’t know how I had any energy left at all, but somehow managed to push through and walk the strip with my co-workers, who hadn’t been to Vegas before.  I knew they just had to see the gardens and the water show at the Bellagio!  No trip is complete without it.
