I made it home, safe and sound (but sick as a dog!) Brandon and the kids picked me up at the airport so early, the kids were still in their PJs. I was happy to see them and have breakfast before they left for school and work. I, on the other hand, spent the whole day in bed with the good cough syrup. Tonight was the Hurricanes’ home opener, and we had all wanted to go, especially since they were giving out free scarves. Brandon had gone to the trouble of getting us tickets, so, I just threw on a ton of layers and enough makeup to look alive, and somehow made it through. The kids were happy to see Stormy and get their scarves, and it helped me stay warm, too!
