It’s Thanksgiving! We gathered over at Steve and Sue’s house, along with Marci, Pete and Julie. Sue had prepared a beautiful meal for us all. The kids amused everyone with their antics (I choose to believe “amused” rather than “annoyed”..!) The kids loved Grandma’s pumpkin tower outside. They each got a special surprise–a personalized ornament! They love having their names on them, and how they light up. Kendall brought over her “sweet stickers” activity book (the surprise breakaway hit of her birthday gifts, thank you, Wilhelmina!) and Brian brought some Thanksgiving Lego sets, a brick-built turkey, and a Thanksgiving table scene, complete with little turkey. My dad’s been having a rough time of it recently, so I’m just thankful we could all be together. 🙂
