Today we all went out to Zebulon to visit Nana Rosemary and Pake Sytse. It was a sunny day, so we walked down to the pond to see the new trail they’d cut. The kids liked being out in nature, and I did, too. Brian liked getting to drive the golf cart a little. We saw so much mistletoe in the trees, some of it was so low, we could reach out and grab it! Grandpa Roger took a photo with a sprig of mistletoe for Grandma Cheryl, and I got Brandon to pose for a cheesy photo with some. Even though Nana’s kitchen is still under construction, we had a great (southern) barbecue dinner. I think the kids liked their dessert the best! Grandparents get to be really liberal with the whipped cream, and more is never enough with our kids, so they really pressed their advantage. 😉 We stayed until little Kendall was just all partied out.
