Brian’s Fishbowl

Brian had a special Saturday art class today, where he made a wonderful fishbowl light!  Isn’t it neat?  I knew he’d enjoy making that and just had to sign him up.  Brandon had the kids pretty much all day today since I was at Sue’s helping care for my dad.  Roxy is so cute, I couldn’t help but steal a few pics of her now and then! Looks like they played with Legos some, and took a trip to the Target (where Kendall can spot Frozen items around every corner!)  I came home for awhile this evening and saw the fishbowl, and the kids being silly in the tub.  I hugged them a little tighter tonight.

I’d told Sue today about my dad’s gigantic blue headphones.  I still have them, so I took a selfie with them on.  I’ll always remember this one time, he got me to wear these headphones, lie down on the floor, close my eyes, and listen to this really odd song.  I’m still not quite sure if the point was to appreciate the technical sound engineering, how they created the sense of space, pushing the limits of what one can do with stereo sound.. Or if the point was to just freak me right the hell out..!  😉  Either way, it was a memorable listen (but to this day, I still don’t particularly like Pink Floyd). 😀
