Things are winding down post-funeral, and both kids had activities today, so we fit those in, to give the kids a bit of normalcy. Lego club for Brian, brunch and silliness and goodbyes to our cousins over at Sue’s, and a party for Kendall. Brandon and I had an appointment in the afternoon, so the kids stayed over at Sue’s while we went there. Brandon and I went by the graveside to see how things are. After some sun, the grounds were looking beautiful again, and the flowers gleamed in the sun. I thought it was nice they’d provided a bench for visitors. We walked around a bit and I told Brandon about the different gardens and how and why we chose the place we had.
