Brian’s school musical was today! The whole first grade sang us a really cute program about all the things kids can pretend with a cardboard box. As you can imagine, this really appealed to Brian, king of all things cardboard. Brian has been singing the songs for it, but when I ask him about it, he says “It’s a secret, you can’t hear that yet!” Things have been so crazy lately, it was nice to forget about it all for a bit and just watch the kids sing. Lots of good laughs were had by all. Grandma Sue was able to attend, too, which was a really fun surprise for Brian. I liked how the music teacher just assigned each group of kids a color to wear, it made for a really nice color spectrum up there on the stage. 🙂 When we got home, we had one more surprise–Brandon had bought us all some new Red Hat and Fedora gear! We had to take a family-selfie all decked out.
