I managed to chase down an iPod classic and dock like my dad had on eBay, and loaded it up with lots of fun stuff so we can enjoy music in our family room. The kids think this is great! The way they skip tracks so quickly, though, I’m questioning the wisdom of putting this in reach of them.. 😉 But, maybe it’ll provide lots of teachable moments about sharing and patience? Tonight we had Sue’s famous chocolate chip cake for dessert at our family dinner, and she shared with us a family story about quite literally taking a piece from the middle! The kids thought this was great, and we all had quite a laugh (and lots of delicious cake). 🙂
