Our education spring break beach trip rolls on, as today we went to the Crystal Coast Visitor Center, Beaufort, and the NC Maritime Museum (or the “Pirate Museum”, as the kids call it!) Brian continued to take good notes, and both kids enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt. Everyone likes the Lego Pirate Ship that was on display–it’s out of production, but I might try to track it down (Kendall really likes the mermaid!) We had a passable lunch at the Royal James Cafe (which, if they were honest with themselves, is a bar more than a cafe!) We enjoyed the springtime weather back at the beach house, with some time on the porch, on the dock, and in the yard. The daffodils were looking so beautiful in the sun!
