Today was the Dino Egg Hunt at the Museum of Life + Science in Durham! On the way in, we were happy to run into Brian’s pal from his Goddard days, Julian. What a nice surprise! The kids played outside for awhile before it was our turn to hunt. The fossil dig area was a hit! Julian is a bit of an expert about dinosaurs, so he told us about some of his favorites. There were some new activities outside, like the big dinosaur 3D puzzles, and some old favorites. The kids had fun with each, and when we got too cold, we retreated indoors for awhile. The kids played in SoundScapes for awhile, and then at the Keva blocks. Brandon made a great structure, highly precise. I took Kendall to look at some of her favorite weather displays for awhile so he could have a chance to finish building it. Predictably, Kendall crashed the block structure not soon after it was complete! Oh well. I guess she couldn’t resist. 🙂

You got a video and photo before Kendall destroyed the block structure. Looked like a nice day to be outside.
