Red Hat’s own Hat Rack Cafe now has a dinner-to-go offering, so we’re trying that out for quick Tuesday night dinners. (Why Tuesday? It’s the night before our Produce Box deliveries, so theoretically, we should be lowest on produce then). Tonight we were happily surprised that the dinner was a Japanese Udon soup with chicken and vegetables. Yummy! I love the thick noodles, and the kids had fun playing with them (and they ate them, too). Also, I made another slice of felt pie–this one is a pretend Grasshopper (mint chocolate) pie. Not sure I’ve ever had that in real life, but, it seems like something I’d like, all the way to the Andes mint garnish. 😉
