The kids got a new electric toothbrush! It’s a Sonicare for Kids. Hopefully they will like it, I think our Sonicare helps us keep our teeth healthy. We upgraded our brush as well. I messed up when I bought our second one a few years ago, and got a cheap model that didn’t have the four-quadrant timer to make sure you brush evenly. I made sure this time that our new one has it, as does the kids’ brush. We spent the day at home playing games like Cootie, and with the Lego pirate ship. This afternoon we went to Grandma Sue’s for a nice family dinner. Brandon made a pretty amazing array of kebabs for us on the grill. The kids played in the backyard with the lacrosse gear Brandon got them. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch. The mosaic tile on Sue’s butterfly table was just glittering and beautiful in the sun. The kids loved having ice cream for dessert, and I think Brian has a new favorite–a pomegranate/berry sorbet! Yum. 🙂 Kendall, of course, went for the chocolate. Brian was a little jealous of the tiny red plastic spoon that came inside her mini Haagen-Dazs. Somehow it came home with us and ended up in Brian’s room. (edit: I found that spoon in his room again, six months later!)
