Whew, what a week it’s been.. Last Sunday, Brian had his reading class, and things seemed mostly normal.. Until our fridge died. Ugh! Brandon and I missed some of our family dinner time as we went to Sears and quickly bought a new fridge before closing time. It was delivered on Wednesday, sometime after 11:30pm–yikes! Those guys gave new meaning to being behind schedule–they were supposed to show up at 4pm. The kids were disappointed they didn’t get to see it installed when they got home from school, but mischievous Brian was up late, and got to see the delivery truck unpack the new fridge and cart the old one away from his window. The new fridge sure is big and shiny. The kids like it a lot, except that magnets won’t stick to the front of it! 🙁 Brian had Artspace camp this week, although he almost didn’t–the circus-themed camp he was enrolled in was cancelled due to lack of participation, but they let him join the older kids’ class, which was puppy/dog themed. Maybe this can help Brian get less afraid of dogs? 😉 We let Roxy be his pet-by-proxy, so he brought in pictures of her to work from. He painted a picture of her, which he gave to Grandma Sue. Brian spent the afternoons with Grandma, and we enjoyed getting photos and messages about their adventures. 🙂 I really liked the Viking battle picture he drew. Brandon and I witnessed the end of an era this week, as Jon Stewart retired from the Daily Show–we’ve relied on his “fake news” since college, so we’re feeling the loss..! Kendall entertained us with her songs and wacky gymnastics, silly girl. 🙂
