Today was Brian’s first day of second grade! He was pretty excited about it. Poor kiddo had to lug in two huge Lego shopping bags filled with school supplies to donate to the class! Those annual supply lists just keep growing. 🙂 Brian had a hockey practice after school, but first day carpool is always a nightmare, and we weren’t sure how we’d be able to get both kids at the right time. Grandma Sue came to our rescue and picked up Kendall for us, and met us back at our house when the boys dropped me off. Sue and Kendall had some time while they waited for us to get out of carpool, so they visited the Groovy Duck bakery. Kendall was really proud of her special yellow duckie cookie! Grandma also had a treat for Brandon and me–yum! The boys brought home Char-Grill after hockey so we could have a quick dinner after our busy day. Also included, the markerboard picture of an Ewok that Brian drew in my cubicle at work last week. 😉
