Today Brian’s big birthday present arrived–the newly-released Disney Infinity 3.0! Nana went in with Brandon and me to get Brian the big set that included a lot of Star Wars characters, and we picked up all the rest of them individually. We also got some other characters that Kendall would like–I think she might be able to play this game, too! Of course we don’t want them playing videogames all the time, but I think this one encourages creativity. The kids can make their own worlds and games within the game, and being able to combine the different characters in different situations is just awesome. 🙂 I can’t wait to see Princess Elsa flying an X-Wing fighter around Cinderella’s castle, while Hulk smashes his way around Halloween Town. Predictably, the kids ended up playing with the boxes that the games and figures came in, making a cardboard train for themselves, which they rode all around the living room. They made it quite detailed, with multiple cars, and amenities like personal TV sets.
