Just a fun Sunday at home..! Today the kids used all the broken crayons to melt down into rainbow crayon cupcakes. They had fun choosing their color combos, although we learned that crayon quality varies widely, which affects the quality of the blend. The majority of the broken crayons were cheap restaurant crayons, and yeah, they are mostly just wax, not a lot of pigment. Still, it was a fun activity. 🙂 The kids also amused themselves with Duplos and Brian’s new Star Wars Command toys (like little army men, but Star Wars characters) and this afternoon, we played with bubbles on the porch, and Brian played catch while Kendall had sandbox time in the back yard.
