We had to skip town so soon after Valentine’s day to go to the Lego Fest, I didn’t get to post about all of our Valentine’s Day crafts. 🙂 Brian made this lovely heart string for us–there’s one for each member of the family, and one for Everybody! Nana helped him string them up while Brandon and I were out seeing Spamalot, and they made a lovely and festive decoration! I love how each heart is different, and how he personalized them with our names on the back. I also thought it was cool that I got some Star Wars stickers on the back of mine. 😉 I’ve also included the cards that Brian and Kendall made for us at school–handprints from Brian, and footprints from Kendall! I gave the kids some semi-homemade felt bags to collect their treats in, and Brian did some extra sticker decorating on the back. Brian seemed to enjoy having a dish of conversation hearts out over the last week or so, and we practiced trying to read some of them. Brian really liked the Darth Vader tin that I gave him! Oh, and the kids’ Valentines that they gave out at school… Both had lenticular cards, Brian’s were Star Wars-themed, and Kendall’s were Hello Kitty-themed. Brian wanted to keep a couple of his cards for posterity, so I found some adhesive-backed magnets, trimmed them to the size of the cards, and created some magnets for him! (And I made one for Kendall, too.) With all the art that these two make, extra magnets will definitely come in handy! 🙂

Nice Valentines. We especially like the one of Brian’s handprints and Kendall’s footprints.
