Moe’s, Ice Cream, and Another Park!

Brian has been really into Moe’s lately, I guess all the commercials that air during the hockey games are really working on him!  He loves the one where the business woman on her headset walks into Moe’s, the staff says “Welcome to Moe’s!” and she’s transformed into a rockstar type, walking in slow-motion to a bluesy guitar riff.  Brian likes this so much that when he gets dressed, he’ll often make an entrance in slo-mo, singing the riff from the commercial.  It’s hilarious, I’ve really got to try and get a video of it.  🙂  Anyway, today we thought we’d celebrate free queso thanks to the ‘Canes and go visit our neighborhood Moe’s for lunch.  We sat outside and the kids had a blast.  Kendall enjoyed everything, especially black beans, and trying to dip her chips into the queso dip and salsa!  Afterward, we clearly suffered a mental lapse and took the kids to Baskin-Robbins for some ice cream.  We all had way too much sugar, and discovered that Kendall is really, seriously into chocolate ice cream!  I can’t blame her, their dark chocolate is really something special.  🙂  She would open her mouth so wide, trying to get us to give her more and more!  Brian loves mint chocolate chip, just like Mommy and Grandpa Roger!   Afterward, we needed to go use up some of the extra energy, so we went to North Hills park.  Brian had been there with Brandon before for a birthday party, but it was new to me and Kendall.  We all enjoyed playing outside, using the sand diggers, trying out some different playground equipment, and Kendall loved the slides, and crawling through some of the big tubes!  Brian showed off some of his cool moves, and Kendall wowed us with some good walking, even on the uneven terrain!
