The Big Zoo

We had a lazy day, playing at home today!  We all slept late, and forgot to do some things we had planned to do..  Instead, we stayed in our pajamas far too long, and just played on the floor with the kids.  One of the things we did was create a gigantic Lego Duplo zoo!  We have at least four sets of zoo-themed Duplos, and putting them all together, wow–we had enclosures for every kind of animal, and Brian enjoyed giving each kind of animal the right kind of food.  It was a challenge, keeping things together, since Hurricane Kendall wreaked havoc on our poor zoo more times than we could count..!  This bugged Brian, but he tried to be understanding.  We reminded him that he also was much more into demolition than construction when he was her age!  When not causing chaos and disorder, Kendall occupied herself by playing buckethead with one of the Lego containers–this new style of peek-a-boo was very exciting for her!  Once she took her nap, Brian wanted to try his mint chocolate M&M’s, and I was curious about the raspberry, too!  Brian wants you to know that the verdict is in:  both mint and raspberry M&Ms are quite good. 🙂
