Saturday Fun

Today I let Brandon sleep late, which meant I had the kiddos to myself for a few hours this morning.  We had breakfast and then played together–which of course means lots of Lego Duplo time!  I had been trying to finish up my pedicure for awhile, and eventually just did it while we were in the kitchen (the kids were contained and distracted, or so I thought!)  Kendall noticed, though, and pointed and kept putting her feet out and protesting loudly that I wasn’t painting her toenails, too.  So, eventually I gave in, and painted her toenails for the first time. 🙂  We match!  She was very proud of this, and kept pointing and grinning!  I had to explain to Brandon later that this was really her idea..!  😉  Later, the family took a trip out to Edward McKay where we picked up some records, CDs, and games.  Brandon has been bitten by the music collecting/archiving bug as well, and he’s been embarking on a project to accurately rip and archive all of our CDs.  We have found that some of our CDs haven’t aged so well and aren’t able to rip accurately–so we replace them, trying our luck with cheap used ones.
