Brian’s teacher, Ms. Sarah Catherine, was wonderfully kind and sent us these photos from Brian’s 2012-2013 school year at Root! I could (and often do!) sing her praises for days, as a lot of you well know. We really do credit her with so much of Brian’s success and amazing progress over the past 2+ years. She’s helped Brandon and me to become better parents, offering evening seminars and workshops based on Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline program. She’s visited his Goddard teachers (all of them!) and helped them tailor their instruction to meet his unique needs. Root was our first choice for Brian’s elementary school, for many reasons, but a major factor is that Ms. Sarah Catherine is there, and will be right down the hall from Brian’s kindergarten. We view all of our teachers, speech therapists, teachers’ assistants, occupational therapists, and all of his caregivers as part of Brian’s Team. But, if we had to pick an MVP, I think it would have to be Ms. Sarah Catherine. 🙂 Enjoy these awesome pictures from Brian’s “senior” year at Root Pre-K.

Brian, Grandma Cheryl listened to the song while I looked at your school year photos. You look so happy to be at Root school and what a gift to have had such an exceptional teacher as Ms. Sarah Catherine. I enjoyed looking at your 2012-2013 school year.
