Pullen Park!

Today was Brian’s final School-Family Partnership day with his Root Preschool class!  Brandon and I both attended, and Brian was very excited to visit Pullen Park with us during the middle of a weekday!  I think he liked having both of us to himself. 🙂  Ms. Sarah Catherine and Ms. Misty were there, and just a couple of Brian’s friends from class.  Brian loved all the usual hotspots, including the train ride, mini boats, sand diggers, climbing structures, see-saws, and carousel.  It was a blisteringly hot day, but that didn’t stop Brian from enjoying everything fully!  After a nice long playtime, we found a shady spot and had a picnic lunch together.  We’ve really enjoyed these special opportunities to spend time with Brian on days where we’d just have regular school and work days otherwise.
