Today was a relaxing Sunday at home, where we let the kids stay in their PJs late into the day and just took it easy. We made Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream (and have now created another little whipped cream monster–Kendall is obsessed with the stuff!) Kendall found some beads and wore them like a backpack while she played with the Star Wars toys and car garage. Brian and Brandon made some pretty spectacular tub crayon art during Brian’s bathtime tonight–I came across it later and just loved all the detail! The space ships look pretty familiar, and the hockey scene where “Brian says no!” was so cute, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. 🙂

We are fond of whipped cream also. We mostly use the canned whipped cream but once in a while we whip a carton of fresh cream. Growing up on a dairy farm, we could go to the “milk house” where the chilled milk cans were kept and skim cream off the top of a can. Those are neat drawing, Brian.
I like Kendall’s “backpack” beads and the strawberries and cream look so yummy! I enjoyed your drawings, Brian – you’re good at drawing and spelling!
