Brandon and I got to enjoy a rare night out at the NC Symphony! It was a Sci-Fi Spectacular, featuring music from Star Wars, Star Trek, and many other TV shows and movies that we like. Plus, a special appearance by Mr. George Takei himself! We were also surprised to see a number of Star Wars characters in full costume. We posed for some photo ops to share with Brian. I really wish he could have seen the show! But, it was much too late for him. Hopefully they will do it again when he’s a little older! We learned that the 501st is likely the organization behind the costumed characters, so maybe we can see them in action at another event.
