I came across Kendall’s hospital bassinet card today while scanning some documents.. Amazingly enough, I remembered where Brian’s card was, so I thought I’d scan them both (and put them into their baby books, where they belong). Also included is Kendall’s footprint, which they made for us in the hospital. When Brian was born, they didn’t do footprints at all–we asked! But when Kendall was born, they didn’t take 1-day-old photos anymore. It’s funny to think about what changed in four years, and what didn’t–the cards sure look similar! 🙂

That is good you are saving these digitally. When we were born at the Richland Hospital in 1952 and 1953, we wore little bead bracelets on our wrists in either pink/white or blue/white with our last names spelled out in beads. Grandma Cheryl’s bracelet was lost in a fire in 1966 and Grandpa Roger’s unknown. Our birth certificates have our footprints on them.
