Kendall and I had some playtime this morning, while Brian was at speech! She was so cute in the morning sun. She danced to her radio, built with peek-a-blocks, played her piano, and made silly faces with lots of giggles when I turned on the phone’s front camera for her! Thanks to Grandma Sue, Kendall now has two of my granny’s Cabbage Patch dolls. These weren’t exactly for playing with when I was a kid, but I remember thinking how much I really wanted to play with that one in the yellow outfit with the curls and green eyes! I’m glad Kendall gets to enjoy the doll now–I’ve got a curly-haired baby girl of my own to dress up! (also: Brian wants to share his homework for his reading class, he drew this cool airplane. 🙂 )

Maureen had a Cabbage Patch doll named Matilda ____(forgotten middle name) and she probably still has her. She played with Matilda gently. Neat airplane drawing, Brian. Grandpa Roger is coming in a big airplane to visit you at Christmas time.
