Happy Morning
Just some pictures of a very happy Kendall enjoying her blueberry pancakes this morning! Aren’t her curls fantastic? I’m still trying to learn how to take care of her super-fine, super-curly hair (hint: gallons of Johnson’s No More Tangles–which smells great, by the way!)–but this morning it was looking good! We know Kendall loves her food.. But today, she really celebrated with gusto! I surprised her with a milk delivery when I got her this morning, which is always met with quite a celebration. We had pancakes for breakfast, which brought on some more partying. And for dinner, I made a soup with sweet Italian sausage, cannellini beans, and kale. Brian and Brandon made some pretty spectacular tub crayon art during Brian’s bathtime...

Brian did most of the work, cooking, and taking care of customers, while Kendall mostly thought the velcro chopsticks and cucumber rolls were just magical. Brian spelled out their names and “love you” on the fridge with letter magnets all by himself, I was suitably impressed! Also, yes, the kids still haven’t finished off their Easter candy.. Maybe by Halloween....

May the 4th be with you! It’s Star Wars day, but Brian felt like playing a different game today–Just Dance 4! Brian learned about this series of games at school. At the end of the day when lessons are done and the kids need to get some energy out, the teachers sometimes show YouTube video captures of the game, and the kids get to dance along. Brian loves music, and dancing to this game seemed to be such a favorite activity for him, I picked up a copy for us to play at home!...
