Easter Egg Hunt!
Today was just packed! Holy moly, where to begin. 🙂 We started the day with breakfast and playing with our new Duplos a little. The kids had figured out that they have matching pink and blue bears, and were playing with those a lot this morning. But we had to get going fairly soon–because today we took the kids to a gigantic Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Raleigh. It was on Halifax Mall, the great green area that is between a lot of the government complex buildings (including the...

We spent today just being lazy and relaxing at home! We played a lot of Legos, and Brian wanted me to take pictures of his rainbow pattern. 🙂 I said we could go ahead an open up one of Kendall’s Easter presents, a big box of Lego Duplos with a safari theme. (I know, we have way too many Duplos already, but they are so cute! She loved these new animals at the Kids Fest and we just had to get them.) I tried to not freak out too bad over losing the past week of pictures from the...

Today started our long weekend together at home for Easter break. We’ve been enjoying putting up some decorations, like a felt egg garland in the kitchen, and Brian has been going to town decorating some foam easter egg shapes with stickers! We’ll watch it over the...

Happy (early) Easter, everybody! We wanted to go ahead and share the kids’ spring photos from Goddard! These are scans of the proofs, we’ll update with digitals once the CDs come back. 😉 Brian chose the cute black and white bunny this year, and clearly, he’s a pro at bunny holding now. Kendall was a little skeptical but we got some cute smiles! Her teachers told us that she was the only kid in her class that didn’t completely wig out and cry about the bunny, so,...

Today is my one-year anniversary at Red Hat! Brian asked to get in Kendall’s crib this morning, something he hasn’t tried in a really long time. But, since the picture I took of the two of them on my first day at Red Hat has been the background image on my phone for a year now, I said okay, so I could snap a new photo of them, one year later. The sun was so bright streaming through Kendall’s windows that I could barely get a shot of them at all, but it’s clear...
