Short Week
It’s a short week, since Monday was the last day of school, and we’re heading to Colorado soon! Brian’s summer camp for this week was cancelled last minute due to lack of enrollment, so we’re improvising. Brian spent the day with Grandma Sue and went out to a fancy lunch. Today was Brian’s last day of first grade! The class celebrated with a pajama party, and the kids got to go to school in their PJs and bring a stuffed animal friend. Brian took Jason the Alligator, the softest reptile you’ll ever meet, a gift from Grandpa Steve before Brian was even born. 🙂 After school, we asked Brian where he’d like to go for dinner to celebrate, and he picked Chick-Fil-A. Today we enjoyed playing Lego Creationary. It’s a game where you draw cards, and have to build something that approximates what’s on your card. The other players have to guess what it is. Some of those cards are really challenging! Kendall played with the power tool/take-apart toys a lot today, and she got a new My Little Pony book about the wedding of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor.
