Fun In The Sun, Parent Night Out
Today was the annual Fun In The Sun event at Brian’s school. Brandon and I volunteered as before, and ran a little hockey game in one corner of the playground. Everyone kept wanting to be the goalie, especially Brian, but since there were no pads or helmets, Brandon insisted it was only shooting practice. It’s mother’s day, and Brandon and the kids took me out for a nice brunch at McCormick & Schmick’s. The kids were.. mostly good, I guess. But let’s please do this at noon or later next time so Mommy can get a mimosa and maybe stress out less. 😉 My dad’s marker finally got placed, so I wanted to be sure and place some flowers there. After brunch, the fam tagged along as I bought some flowers and made an arrangement. We delivered it later this afternoon....

It’s Mother’s Day eve and we have a ton on tap today. We kicked things off with swim lessons for Kendall. Since Alison had a hair cut appointment, Kendall joined Brian and I at Lowe’s Build and Grow. Today’s build was the Mother’s Day Planter Clinic. Kendall was a great helper in building and in selecting appropriate flowers to add to the planter.
