Christmas Eve!
Today I woke up to two adorable children reading together! Brian was sharing some books with Kendall (or maybe she commandeered them!) and he was doing his very best to read them to her, filling in the gaps from memory. The kids enjoyed having the morning at home, without having to rush off to school–getting to play Duplos in your pajamas is always special! After awhile, we did need to get them ready for the day, and I put them back in their Christmas tees (slightly better luck on a...

I love the design on Brian’s shirt, a ninja is offering instruction on how to be more stealthy to Santa and his companions. Brian and I had a good laugh about it!...

The kids really enjoyed the Christmas tree today! They love the new Lego Star Wars Hallmark ornaments, and the Thomas train is always a hit. We went to Target, and let them get a set of small star ornaments to add to the tree, and they had a great time decorating with them. Brandon was surprised by the gigantic rice crispies treat–we didn’t buy it, but still, whoa....
