Going to Grandma’s
I’ve been spending a fair bit of time at Sue’s lately, since my dad is home receiving Hospice care. I slept at home last night and got a shower this morning before we all headed over. Kendall made me smile this morning, wearing her hat and showing me some twirls, saying “that’s how ballerinas do!” So cute. We picked up a rotisserie chicken and Sue had made a big pan of macaroni and cheese, but, we ended up not being able to eat together. When we arrived, Sue...

Brian had a special Saturday art class today, where he made a wonderful fishbowl light! Isn’t it neat? I knew he’d enjoy making that and just had to sign him up. Brandon had the kids pretty much all day today since I was at Sue’s helping care for my dad. Roxy is so cute, I couldn’t help but steal a few pics of her now and then! Looks like they played with Legos some, and took a trip to the Target (where Kendall can spot Frozen items around every corner!) I came...

All of those Melissa and Doug wooden food toys have been such hits with them. 🙂 Tonight at dinner, Brian was begging to hear Queen songs, so we showed him some videos from the group. Most are live performance videos, which are pretty fun to see. Brian clearly wanted to get in on the action, drumming on the table! Kendall danced along as well. Afterward, we still had to study spelling words. I included some video of our study time that...

Kendall enjoyed working on her new puzzles today! She is such a fan of doing puzzles. Tonight, we had dinner at Steve and Sue’s house, where we had takeout from Tokyo House, one of my dad’s favorite sushi places. The kids were in rare form, running around, whinnying like horses, and only got wilder once they had ice cream for...

Another busy Saturday! Today started out bright and early with Kendall’s swimming lesson. Then, Brian had a haircut (I think they went extra short this time..! But he seems okay with it.) This afternoon, we headed over to Cary for Nico’s Mad Science birthday party. We were happy to see the Orazis, and the kids had a blast running around the community center. Soon, it was time to settle down for some science fun, and we all enjoyed the presentation and cool science tricks....
