International Festival!

Today we attending Raleigh’s own International Festival!  This is one of my favorite fall events, though with how packed our fall schedule inevitably is, we don’t always make it out.  This year, bringing two mobile children to a packed and noisy convention center presented a new set of challenges.  All in all, though, we had a great time.  We sampled foods from Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Poland, France, India, Vietnam, probably more. 🙂  We watched many different performances, and the...

Pool Party, Kite Flying, and Bollywood!

Must be a summer Saturday at our house. 😉  Whew, it was another packed day full of fun.  First off, Brian went to Lowe’s Build and Grow and made a cool El Macho plane, from the upcoming movie Planes.  You can see he went in his swim gear, because right after that, it was off to Tyler B’s birthday party.  It was a superhero theme this time, and Brian got to make a cool mask, and got a Batman towel/cape to keep!  I stayed home with Kendall, and we had a nice time relaxing and...

The Monkey Song (and Dance!)
