Early Spring Planting
Brian convinced Brandon to buy a ton of pansies while at Lowes yesterday–it’s more than we can probably handle, but, we did our best today to plant them a selection of various containers. We’ll have a lot of color this springtime! After planting and watering, the kids had a little plasma car time. Also included, Kendall building with her peek-a-blocks, and playing her toy piano. She was so proud of her tall...

Ohhh, the big day is here! The Lego movie is out today, and Brian just had to see it on opening night. He’s been talking about February 7th for months now, and Brandon and I just couldn’t say no.. So, we gave up our date night in order to take Brian out to the movie with just us, and Kendall stayed at Goddard for the pizza party (parent night out). He was pretty excited to have us to himself, and no little sister drama to distract from the movie experience! The movie really...

Tonight was the Hurricanes Kids’ Club party at PNC Arena! This was a pretty special event for Brian. This was a pretty big deal for him! Kendall and I watched from the stands,...

Brian started a new Tuesday-afternoon activity today–his Jedi Engineering with Lego course! He appeared to be having a great time when I picked him up from the library–pretty sure he didn’t want to leave! I hope he learns some good early engineering skills, but more importantly, has a lot of fun! One of his classmates is also in his Jedi Engineering course, so I hope they can become good friends....
Read MoreAnniversary
Today was our 12th anniversary. We didn’t do anything special, and gave each other wildly mismatched gifts–pretty much a solid fail in both planning and execution. Oh well.. Better luck next year. 🙂 Who wants to sign up for childcare for us in 2015? 🙂 Brian made us a cute “married card” as he called it. I also really liked his penguin picture (wodl wodl == waddle waddle). He liked playing with his mini sandbox today–he hadn’t seen it in awhile so it...
