Creativity Abounds!
Gotta love the creativity of these kids. However, we need an additional house just to hold all of the creative output! Ignoring that for a moment, let’s see what the kids did today! First, we had an outing to the latest Lowe’s Build and Grow event! This Saturday, Brian built the “Science Lab 2.0”. It included a beaker and flask that he did NOT have to build. This build also included cards that could be used to perform experiments at home! Science is fun kids! Even...

Thanks to the generous support of friends and family to fund Brian’s “Rootin’ Tootin'” fundraiser for Root Elementary School, he was able to take a free trip to Defy Gravity for bouncing and a pizza party! He missed out the previous year due to his unfortunate arm injury around Halloween that also prevented him from skating for a few weeks. But this year he would not miss out and would have a BLAST! The theme revolved around creating a rescue craft. He basically did two full designs and the creativity kept coming at home. We also saw some great Halloween and Thanksgiving mini-sets that we had to get. Brian finished off by building a racer to go down the ramp track at the front of the store....

We were conflicted about what to do, but, eventually came down on the side of letting Kendall have her pizza party with her friends, Brandon would take Brian to hockey/skating lessons and then a little time at Rootin’ Tootin’, and I would just have the evening to myself to rest. I’m on the mend, but am not up for very much, so it was probably the best thing for us all. The kids had fun at their...
