Thanks to the generous support of friends and family to fund Brian’s “Rootin’ Tootin'” fundraiser for Root Elementary School, he was able to take a free trip to Defy Gravity for bouncing and a pizza party! He missed out the previous year due to his unfortunate arm injury around Halloween that also prevented him from skating for a few weeks. But this year he would not miss out and would have a BLAST! Although these trampoline places (much like inflatable places) put parental nerves on edge, we can’t deny that they do have a lot of fun! I’m pretty sure the dodge-ball was the favorite part for most of the boys. The girls seemed to have more sense.
In other news, Brian got a Star Wars Clone Wars graphic novel from the library that he loved. It’s a combination of an easy reader and comics and is really spurring his love of reading. I had to get a photo of the Time-line so that I could keep the stories in order in my head when reading!
