“Stormy” Saturday
Just another Saturday at home..! Brian decided to play surfer on his R2-D2 chair, wobbling around saying “Surf’s Up!” Kendall got really into stacking magnatiles. She and I had a girls’ night while the boys went to a hockey game. Brian had a special treat there, since Stormy visited our section! Brian got to spend an extra amount of time with him (yay for a slight scheduling...

Just a quick brag post–check out Brian’s solar system! His preschool class all made construction paper solar systems and displayed them outside the classroom, and I’m not exaggerating to say that Brian’s was far and away the very best one. There is just too much cute stuff out there. 🙂 Kendall got some Duplos that include a brown and white bunny and some cute toy eggs, which peep (in a quiet analog way–no...

Today was just packed! Holy moly, where to begin. 🙂 We started the day with breakfast and playing with our new Duplos a little. The kids had figured out that they have matching pink and blue bears, and were playing with those a lot this morning. But we had to get going fairly soon–because today we took the kids to a gigantic Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Raleigh. It was on Halifax Mall, the great green area that is between a lot of the government complex buildings (including the...
