Red Hat Dinner
Red Hat’s own Hat Rack Cafe now has a dinner-to-go offering, so we’re trying that out for quick Tuesday night dinners. (Why Tuesday? It’s the night before our Produce Box deliveries, so theoretically, we should be lowest on produce then). Today was the Boosterthon at Root, which had to be moved indoors at the last moment due to rain. I thought he staff did a good job of adapting the gym and the schedule, so that the kids could still have their fun run. They split up the the grades by gender so there weren’t too many kids out at once. Brian managed to run 42 laps (more than the max of 35, but that’s because he was having fun and just kept on going!) The Goddard School asks families to decorate a piece of paper each year for a “family quilt” they put on the wall on the pre-K hall. It’s basically just a piece of blank construction paper with no instructions other than it needs to have your name, so..
