Dino Egg Hunt!
Today we were off to Durham for more Easter-themed fun! The Museum of Life+Science has a Dino Egg Hunt annually, and we’d hoped to attend last year, but it didn’t work out. We did manage it this year, and the kids had a fantastic time! We visited some of their favorite things, like the boats, and the Soundspace 2 room, but the main attraction was the egg hunt! The long-awaited Boosterthon is here!! I volunteered and helped at the water station (along with about eight other moms)! There were so many parents in attendance, that there were an overabundance of us water folks, lap counters, and high-fivers! Brandon and Kendall were in attendance as well. Today was crazy hair day at Root, as part of Spirit Week leading up to the Boosterthon. We weren’t quite sure what we could do with Brian’s hair, but we knew how much he likes a bathtub mohawk, so I did what I could with some hairspray! (I surprised myself by actually owning some.) Brian has been asking us to come have lunch with him at school more often. A lot of the moms don’t work and are there all the time, it seems! Today we (thankfully!) stayed at home, which was just what we needed after all of yesterday’s adventures! The kids made a pretend fishtank with some of the random plastic fish that were in their Easter eggs yesterday.
