Crayons, Bubbles, Catch

Just a fun Sunday at home..!  Today the kids used all the broken crayons to melt down into rainbow crayon cupcakes.  They had fun choosing their color combos, although we learned that crayon quality varies widely, which affects the quality of the blend.  The majority of the broken crayons were cheap restaurant crayons, and yeah, they are mostly just wax, not a lot of pigment.  Still, it was a fun activity.  🙂  The kids also amused themselves with Duplos and Brian’s new Star Wars Command...

Cupcakes for Brian

Today we brought in cupcakes at lunchtime for Brian to share with his friends, to celebrate his birthday once more.  🙂  School rules say that the cupcakes have to be store-bought, so we complied with that, scary-colored icing and all.  I added those How To Train Your Dragon rings on top to make it thematic like his party.  Brian was happy we both could join him for lunch, and he really liked the ridiculously blue...
