It’s mother’s day, and Brandon and the kids took me out for a nice brunch at McCormick & Schmick’s. The kids were.. mostly good, I guess. But let’s please do this at noon or later next time so Mommy can get a mimosa and maybe stress out less. 😉 My dad’s marker finally got placed, so I wanted to be sure and place some flowers there. It’s Mother’s Day eve and we have a ton on tap today. We kicked things off with swim lessons for Kendall. Since Alison had a hair cut appointment, Kendall joined Brian and I at Lowe’s Build and Grow. Today’s build was the Mother’s Day Planter Clinic. Kendall was a great helper in building and in selecting appropriate flowers to add to the planter. Today there were Mother’s Day parties at both kids’ schools, so I stepped out from work twice to attend them. Brian’s class presented a really cute program, complete with poems and songs, and Brian delivered his lines beautifully.
