Brian’s 1st Hockey Game!
Days do not get much busier than this! The day started with another LEGO Club meeting for Brian. He built a really cool ship for his robot build! But, that wasn’t all, even for this morning. We also signed Brian up for a Dandelion Painting Art Class taught by his regular art teacher at Root, Tia Salton. We had been watching a lot of “Cosmos”, both the new version with Neil DeGrasse-Tyson and the classic version with Carl Sagan. If you’re not familiar with these series,...

Happy St. Patrick’s day! Today Brandon and I were volunteers for Brian’s St. Pat’s party for his classroom. We brought in some fun crafts and activities, and some goodie bags for the kids, with stickers, beads, etc. Another mom and the teacher brought in lots of snacks for the kids as well. She also has some new Hello Kitty socks that have the days of the week on them–she loves finding which socks to wear each day!...

Brian’s balloon guy is still hanging tough after what feels like months (I can’t bring myself to disappear him–“he is a purson” after all!) For our Sunday family dinner, we went out this time–to Winston’s, for Marci’s birthday! The kids were entertaining (if not perfectly behaved)! We had a great meal, way too much sugar, and a good time was had by...

Another busy day! We started off with a building trip to Lowes for Brian. Later, Brian had a hockey practice. Back at home, we spent the afternoon playing Legos and dancing along to the the My Little Pony soundtrack (Brian does a mean squaredance/breakdance mashup thing in the video below!) Brian wasn’t feeling like going to the hockey game tonight, so Kendall got to have a special night out with Daddy at the game! Brian and I stayed home and made s’mores....
