Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day! We had a lot of fun today. The kids had some surprises and cards when they woke up! Brian had a Lowe’s Build and Grow to attend, and made a heart-flower photo holder. Nana Rosemary came by with a lot of cute donuts. She and the kids made some crayon-resist watercolor Valentines. Kendall was looking quite festive for her classroom’s Valentine party today! I was able to join her for the afternoon gathering. She loved those cupcakes with the heart sprinkles, and sitting with her best friend Canady! We came home a little early and worked on a fun craft project–felt Valentine heart faces! The kids both have treasure boxes now, and Kendall is a bit jealous that Brian has more interesting coins in his box..! Today we were off to Chapel Hill for LegoPalooza at the Morehead Planetarium. It was a long wait to get up the stairs to the third floor, but, so fun to see all the different Lego creations! The kids love the big sundial outside. Something about it, the kids just can’t resist running around and around it. We picked up a variety of slices from Pizza & Pasta to take to Sue’s for our family dinner. It’s now located in Carr Mill, as the Franklin St. location is closed....
