Family Picture Day
Today was our family picture day, which is always sort of stressful. 😉  We’re hoping something will turn out well enough for a Christmas card, especially since we found out when reviewing the shots that Kendall made weird faces in every single picture except the first!  The kids were pretty crazy, especially Kendall.  Not even the gigantic Olaf could amuse her enough to smile while standing still!  While I picked out shots to purchase, Brandon and the kids went ahead to...

Today sure was a busy one! Â The kids were playing bright and early with their playsilk dress-ups, Duplos, and the toy animal hospital, which Kendall has been rather interested in lately. Â We went out and did a little shopping today to get outfits for everyone to wear for our family photo, which was a rather harrowing experience for us parents, but I think the kids actually had some fun. Â We realized it was probably our best chance to go and get a pumpkin, so we headed over to Farmer’s...

I wasn’t feeling so good today (sinus infection, must be Friday) so Brandon took Kendall along for Brian’s hockey practice.  She was excited to be at the IcePlex, but probably pretty jealous to not be on the ice herself!  I sent her a picture of her Twilight Sparkle pony who arrived today.  😉  The kids came home and were excited to get their new playsilks, which they combined with their viking helmets and toy swords to great effect.  The kids were so spun up, they ended up having...

Today, Brian really wanted to take his “Rooty” to school–his prize from the fair really does look like his school mascot!  We got dinner out tonight, at Dos Taquitos–always a treat!  Brian decorated his cup to the nines, and was quite proud of it.  He made a snail out of bread crust–he tells us we are not allowed to throw it out.. I wonder how long it’ll last.  😉  After bath tonight, Kendall treated me to some cool dance moves with her yellow playsilk to one...
