Working Snow Day
Home again today, as the snowpocalpyse continues. Brandon braved the weather and went into the office, hanging up a picture Kendall had made for him, and I tried to work at home and keep the Brian as busy as I could. I managed to chase down an iPod classic and dock like my dad had on eBay, and loaded it up with lots of fun stuff so we can enjoy music in our family room. The kids think this is great! Brian had Lego club this morning, always a good time! He loves telling the group about his creation at the end, during presentation time. Brian had hockey clinic this afternoon, and Brandon saw that his venerable old skates are finally giving up on him. Gahh!! Snow day again today. There’s no snow outside our window, or in much of the area, but I suppose they are using an abundance of caution in case any slippery roads remain. The boys braved the “treacherous” conditions (ha! ha!) this evening to go to the hockey game. I’m sure they were glad to get out for awhile! It was sort of a long week. Well, we had another snow day! Mostly due to icy roads, not any halfway decent snow. A hashtag has been started on Twitter about our multiple snow days in a row, #pancakeday.
