LegoPalooza at the Planetarium, Puppet Show at Grandma’s
Today we were off to Chapel Hill for LegoPalooza at the Morehead Planetarium. It was a long wait to get up the stairs to the third floor, but, so fun to see all the different Lego creations! The kids love the big sundial outside. Something about it, the kids just can’t resist running around and around it. We picked up a variety of slices from Pizza & Pasta to take to Sue’s for our family dinner. It’s now located in Carr Mill, as the Franklin St. location is closed....

Brian became a superfan of the rock band Queen sometime in late December/early January, and he’s constantly asking to hear their music in the car. Kendall has picked up on it as well. Tonight they put on an epic bathtub performance! I shouldn’t have let this go on as long as it did, but they just kept on going, and it kept being so funny..! 15 whole minutes of video follow....

Lots of...

At Sue’s, I finished putting together the sheep puppets we’d been working on. The kids watched Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure and entertained us all before our family dinner together. Marci had cupcakes for us, in Superbowl team...

Sue and I went out to lunch with Mary Conroy today at Vivace. Mary is one of those wonderful kind souls, a dear friend of Sue’s who I’ve come to love and appreciate so much. She stayed with me overnight at Sue’s house, when I was looking after my dad in his last few days, and Sue had to spend the night away at the hospital herself. She brought us delicious food more times than I can count, and was just wonderful with the kids. I was happy to see her again today, and after...

Goddard School had a science fair this evening! We enjoyed some snacks and then visited each classroom to see what they had made. The kids loved the Creamy Coconut Play-Doh and the slime in Kendall’s class the best! Kendall wanted to wash her hands pretty soon after playing with the slime....
