Chili’s Monday
We randomly decided to go to Chili’s for dinner tonight. Brian asked for it, and we couldn’t think of a good reason not to! I think he loves going there so much because of that picture menu, and getting to circle his choices with a crayon. It’s not official protocol or anything, but I suggested it to him once just to keep him busy for a few seconds. He just loves that autonomy! Today we did a bit of spring cleaning and organizing. I repacked some winter gear, after having realized a space bag had sprung a leak and gotten stuck in a drawer. Predictably this devolved into the two of them wrestling, with Kendall as the winner! Brian likes her to win (sensory seeking, we presume), and has taken to egging her on: “Kendall, squish me!” We saw that Sid the Science Kid is coming to town for a live show,...

Tonight we went out to dinner at Neo Asia with Grandpa Steve and Grandma Sue! They helped us out a lot by picking up the kids for us, and we all met up at the restaurant. We had a great visit and delicious dinner together, and the kids did well enough on their dinner to get an ice cream for dessert! I think that might have been their favorite part....
