Disney Infinity
Today Brian’s big birthday present arrived–the newly-released Disney Infinity 3.0! Nana went in with Brandon and me to get Brian the big set that included a lot of Star Wars characters, and we picked up all the rest of them individually. We also got some other characters that Kendall would like–I think she might be able to play this game, too! Of course we don’t want them playing videogames all the time, but I think this one encourages creativity. The kids can make...

Today we brought in cupcakes at lunchtime for Brian to share with his friends, to celebrate his birthday once more. 🙂 School rules say that the cupcakes have to be store-bought, so we complied with that, scary-colored icing and all. Grandma Sue came to our rescue and picked up Kendall for us, and met us back at our...
Read MoreGliders from Marci
This morning, we wrapped up Brian’s reading class over at NC State. I think it’s been really helpful, both for Brian, and for teaching us parents how to support him. At Grandma’s house for family dinner, Brian brought over his collection of planes, and the kids played with the cardboard airport he’d made. Marci presented the kids with a pair of gliders, which we played with on the front lawn. Kendall’s had beautiful pink designs, and Brian’s was Darth...
